Cookie Policy

This page explains how VLV Electrical Ltd uses cookies and consent preferences on the website.

Cookie categories

The website separates necessary website functions from optional analytics, functional and marketing categories so visitors can make a clear choice.

Necessary cookiesAlways enabled for consent preferences
Analytics cookiesOff unless accepted and configured
Functional cookiesReserved for optional future features
Marketing cookiesNot active unless added later and consented

Essential cookies

The website may use a small first-party necessary cookie to remember cookie consent choices. This helps the consent banner work properly and does not store customer enquiry details, uploaded files or personal form content.

Consent banner

The consent banner allows visitors to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies or manage preferences. Necessary cookies are always enabled because they support basic website operation and consent preferences.

Analytics, marketing and functional categories are off by default unless the visitor chooses otherwise.

Analytics cookies

Google Analytics may be used to understand website usage only after analytics consent has been given and the relevant public analytics ID has been configured. Analytics helps VLV understand which pages and enquiry routes are useful so the website and services can be improved.

Analytics events should not include customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, full addresses, personal form messages, uploaded filenames, uploaded file paths or uploaded file URLs.

Marketing cookies

Advertising remarketing cookies are not currently enabled. The website does not currently use Meta/Facebook pixel, Google Ads remarketing, Microsoft Clarity or similar advertising tracking.

If advertising or remarketing tags are approved in future, they should be explained clearly and consent-gated before use.

Functional cookies

Functional cookies are reserved for optional website features. They are off by default unless a future feature requires them and VLV approves the wording and consent approach.

Changing preferences

Visitors can use the Cookie preferences button on the website to accept, reject or manage non-essential categories. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not stop customers from using contact details, enquiry forms or the Quote Assistant.

Privacy and data

Personal data from forms, uploads, emails and customer communications is explained in the Privacy Policy. Cookie preferences are separate from the information customers choose to send through enquiry forms or email.
